It comes a day after the Southend West MP was mourned throughout a personal service at St Mary’s Church in Prittlewell, Essex.

“We work for them and never the opposite method round, and no-one was ever more aware of that than David Amess.

“No matter one thinks of members of parliament, and opinions do differ, in my expertise MPs of all events do genuinely try to assist different individuals.

“Nonetheless, collectively lately now we have maybe not all the time helped ourselves, and I humbly recommend right this moment that we have to be taught from that.

“But, boy, did David Amess honour the contract with his employers – and in his own inimitable style.”

He added: “Whatever the weaknesses of parliament, David Amess was the living embodiment of all its strengths.”

Mourners lined the streets as Sir David’s coffin, draped in a Union Flag, was carried by pallbearers from Southend Fireplace Service.

The coffin was borne on a horse-drawn hearse for a procession by Southend, pausing in entrance of the civic centre, the place tons of of individuals gathered to pay their respects, a lot of them applauding.
